Plain-English version. What this site collects, where it goes, and how to delete it.
What gets collected
- Email. Only if you submit the subscribe form or the audit-checklist gate. Stored in Resend.
- Anonymous page-view analytics. Only if you accept cookies on the banner. Stored in Google Analytics 4. IP address anonymized at collection.
- Error reports. When something breaks on the site, a stack trace is sent to Sentry. No personal data captured intentionally.
- Chatbot messages. If you talk to the Ask Ryan widget, the conversation is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the response. Anthropic does not train on API data by default.
What does NOT get collected
- · No third-party ad trackers.
- · No selling or sharing data with brokers.
- · No fingerprinting beyond standard analytics.
- · No tracking cookies before you accept the banner. The cookie banner is the gate; reject and nothing is set.
How long it's kept
- · Email: until you unsubscribe (every email has an unsubscribe link)
- · Analytics: 14 months, Google's default
- · Error reports: 90 days, Sentry's default
- · Chatbot messages: retained for 30 days for abuse and quality monitoring, not joined to your identity
How to delete your data
Email hello@ryanpierce.ai with the email address you used. I delete from Resend within one business day.
For analytics: clear your cookies for this site. For chatbot messages: there's nothing stored against your identity, so there's nothing to delete.

If this changes, this page updates. Last revised April 2026.
